This exhibition celebrates the ways culture flows, intersects, and evolves while deeply rooted in story, movement, and shared experience.
As we open this new exhibition, we also honor 10 years of the Bridge Art Gallery in New Jersey, a decade of amplifying artists, building community, and creating spaces where creativity and connection thrive.

About the guest curator
Donna Walker-Kuhne, the nation’s foremost expert in audience development, leads an inspiring discussion on how artistic communities can meaningfully connect, grow inclusive audiences, and create a more vibrant artistic world. In this open and inviting conversation, she shares concrete examples of successful audience outreach from her extensive field experience, as well as spotlighting young Champions for the Arts in the Montclair State University community. They’re ready to pledge their commitment to forging dynamic strategies to strengthen the arts. Are you ready to join them?
Donna Walker-Kuhne is an award-winning thought leader, lawyer, scholar, educator, writer, and strategist for community engagement, audience development, and social justice. Acknowledged as the nation‘s foremost expert on audience development by the Arts & Business Council, she has worked with NJPAC, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, The Public Theater, WNYC Radio, The Apollo Theater, and more, and consulted on over 22 Broadway productions. As founder and president of Walker International Communications Group, Inc., she has raised over $23 million in earned income by promoting the arts to diverse communities. Walker is the author of Invitation to the Party, Building Bridges to Arts, Culture, and Community, and Champions for the Arts, Successful Strategies for Engaging Dynamic Communities.
